A woman accused of scamming people in Selah has been arrested. Police identified Tabatha Pimentel from bank surveillance pictures. They believe she was scamming people by going door-to-door collecting money to build a town baby pool. The project was a fake. Police figured out who she was and Pimentel turned herself in. Neighbors are relieved. Pimentel was at the Wapato jail, but has been released on bail. Only one victim has come forward, who gave just ten-dollars. Police however believe there were many other victims.
