She's been on paid leave since June of 2009. And now an East Valley teacher, Michele Taylor acquitted of sexual misconduct charges is able to keep her teaching certificate. The State Office of Public Instruction pulled Taylors' license to teach in June but she appealed. The board recently decided to impose a one year suspension instead of revoking the certificate. Taylor was acquitted last June of charges that she had sex with a 16 year old student.
