Three-Car Crash Possibly Caused by Driving Under the Influence

A three-car accident caused two collisions Monday on Summitview Avenue and Marble Road. Police said drugs or alcohol might have played a role in the crash. A 51-year old woman was taken to a Yakima hospital with injuries.

Authorities say the first car heading westbound on Summitview Avenue crossed the center lane and hit an oncoming car. That car spun around into a third car. Charges are pending for the driver suspected of being under the influence.
