Drive-By Shooting Injures 39-Year-Old Yakima Woman

Yakima Police are looking for a man who they say shot a 39-year-old woman in a drive-by shooting early Tuesday morning. Spokesman Mike Bastinelli says the woman was standing in the area of South Naches And East Chestnut Avenues at about 1:00 a.m. Tuesday when a man drove near her and shot her multiple times. The man then drove away. The woman was taken to a Yakima hospital with non life threatening wounds and is expected to recover. No arrests have been made.
