Do You Live in a Million Dollar City in WA? The List is Growing

In the market for a new home? The median of a home price in Yakima in January was $331,500 representing a 9.6 % increase from last January when the price was $302,500. 90 homes sold in January which is an 18% increase from the 76 homes that sold in January of 2023.

THE LIST OF MILLION DOLLAR CITIES IS NOW UP TO 18

And while the average price is below $400,000 many homes in Yakima are worth more than $1 million. A new study by Zillow.com has found 18 cities in the state where homes are worth $1 million or more.

A MAJORITY OF THE CITIES ARE ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE STATE

Perhaps not surprising is that 17 of the cities are on the west side of the state in the Seattle metro area. The other area where many homes are selling for millions of dollars is Bainbridge Island near Bremerton. The list is constantly being updated and just recently Snoqualmie and Bothell were added to the list.

WA STATE IS NUMBER 7 ON THE LIST

Washington is listed as the 7th state in the nation with the most million-dollar cities. California is number one on the list with 210 million dollar plus homes.
The list, according to Zillow.com is long and there's a lot of money in the cities in the state;
