Dirty Air Leads to Burn Ban in Yakima

A stage one burn ban is now in place in the upper and lower Yakima Valley. Clouds have moved in and the air is stagnant so the Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency called for the ban earlier Today. The ban means no agricultural burning and no use of fireplaces or uncertified woodstoves. But you can use your woodstove if it's your only source of heat.
