Banking is becoming a challenge in the Yakima Valley as many bank lobbies are now closed to the public because of concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.  Many banks are encouraging customers to use the drive-up banking service or dial an 1-800 number.
Some local credit unions are doing the same.

Officials are encouraging customers to use online tools, make an appointment or customers can also use tools found on the ATM's at local banks as well.  Customers who never had to use the online banking tools are now discovering how easy or how challenging online banking can be.

All US Banks located in the county have closed lobbies but have kept drive-up windows and ATM's open for customer use.
