Thanks Fox News. I don’t know how I would have been able to go on without knowing about this one.  The incredible edible egg just got even more incredible.

The trendy new way to prepare eggs, the latest food craze is “Cloud Eggs!”

If like me, you have made peace with the whole eggs-equal-cholesterol thing, then you probably enjoy a fried, poached or scrambled egg every now and then.  If so, this will send you into, well, the clouds!

The dish has also become popular with health fanatics, as it only comes in at approximately 161 calories and consists of a fluffy, cloud-like egg white, with the yolk served in the middle.

How do you do it?  You begin by separating the yolks and then whipping the whites into a thick and fluffy consistency. You then place small piles of the egg white mix on to a baking sheet and into the oven for between five and eight minutes — removing then just before they start to brown. Once out of the oven, you add the yolk into the middle of each pile before baking for a further three minutes. Just like that you are on egg cloud nine…Bon appétit! (Fox)
