Catch the Crush Set for October 12 and 13 in Yakima Valley

It's a special time of year in Yakima Valley wine country and a celebration is set for Saturday and Sunday. The wine grape harvest is finished and winemakers have already started production for the coming year. On Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13 you can Catch the Crush an event at wineries up and down the Yakima Valley. Many wineries in the valley offer great food, themed festivals, concerts and specialty wines. Many of the wineries will also offer live music as well.
Barb Glover with Wine Yakima Valley says you can stomp grapes, check those juicy sugar levels and do comparative tastings from grapes to juice to the bottle. The weekend forecast calls for party sunny skies with a high of 60 degrees both days.
So on Saturday just get in your car find your favorite winery and attend.
