Children’s Underground at the Yakima Valley Museum is throwing a party!

On Saturday, June 23rd, from 4 to 6 p.m., the Children’s Underground will be hosting its first-ever Blossom Festival. Families will be invited to come explore and enjoy the Underground’s hands-on activities.  There will be an array of children’s activities including: a story hour, decorating and planting your very own flower pot to take home, tumbling for tots, hair feathers, and games with prizes.  Child-friendly food and beverages will be served.  Wine and beer will be available for those 21 and over.

The Blossom Festival will also include a silent auction and a children’s fashion show, with all proceeds benefiting the Children’s Underground, which has been delighting and teaching the children of the Yakima Valley—and children visiting from all over the country and the world—since 1995.

Admission into the Blossom Festival is $10 per adult, $5 per child, and no more than $25 per family.  Tickets can be purchased at the Yakima Valley Museum’s front desk, located at 2105 Tieton Drive, or on the day of the event at the door.  Tickets can also be purchased online on the museum’s website:
