
Yakima Valley Museum Turns 75 with Family Fest
When was the last time you visited the Yakima Valley Museum? For many who grew up in Yakima the museum was a always part of yearly visit for special programs. It's a tradition that's been happening for 75 years and on Saturday it's a party and you're invited.
IT'S A FREE PARTY AND EVERYONE IS INVITED
Join the Yakima Valley Museum to celebrate 75 years of preserving Yakima Valley history with a fun, family-friendly birthday party at the Museum on Saturday! It's a free fun time complete with a birthday cake, hands-on crafts and activities for all ages, a themed scavenger hunt and other fun events. You might even be able to sing happy birthday.

If it's been a while since you've visited the museum it'll also give you a chance to check the exhibits and maybe plan future visits for yourself or your family. You can also check out ways you can support the museum in the future.

A news release says admission is free all day, with a suggested donation of $10 to support "accessible community programming." It's a party and all you have to bring is a festive attitude and yourself and or your family. The birthday fun happens from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. with fun for the entire family including face painting from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Admission is free, but registration is recommended.
