Benton County Man Arrested After Wife was Murdered

A 55-year-old man was taken into custody in Union Gap on Sunday in connection with the fatal shooting of his 51-year-old wife on Saturday. Benton County authorities say Silvestre Rojas Fuentes is being held in the Benton County Corrections Facility after being arrested at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday in Union Gap. Authorities say a relative found the body of his wife at a home near Prosser.
Rojas Fuentes is being held on a charge of first-degree murder.
