It's almost that time of year again time to pick your own fruit at a handful of you pick farms in the Yakima Valley. It's called ag tourism and a lot of people in the Yakima Valley welcome tourists to farms to pick their own fruit. Jim Blonde is the co-owner of West Valley U Pick on Zier Road who says the farm will be open on June 15 when cherries and raspberries will be ready to pick. You'll have to wait until July 1 for blueberries. Thousands of people visit West Valley U Pick Farm throughout the year where they get a chance to see where the fruit is grown and pick it themselves. The farm is located at the end of Zier Road at 11901 Zier Road. West Valley U Pick is a handful of you pick farms around Eastern and Central Washington.
