$10,000 Found in Shoebox Donated to Goodwill

A shoebox containing $10,000 was donated to the Goodwill in Sunnyside. A pair of shoes hid the money.

The Goodwill does accept donations throughout the year, but they say this is the largest amount they've ever received. And they’ve never received a donation in a shoe box. This leads The store manager to believe it may be an accident.

If it was an accident and you donated the shoes, you'll have to properly identify the box, type of shoes and the exact amount of cash. If unclaimed, Goodwill plans to use it in their mission to help others.
