Yakima Valley Community College will host Real Hope Act Information Sessions on May 29. The sessions begin at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. in YVCC’s Deccio Higher Education Center.

Eligible students are those who have graduated, are graduating from high school, or have earned a GED; have lived in Washington for three years prior to and while earning a diploma; and who have signed a promise to file an application to become a permanent resident. Eligible students can apply for aid through the Washington State Need Grant by completing a WASFA Application. For help with the completion of the WASFA, applicants should bring the following documents:

• A 2013 tax return, including the applicant's parents unless the applicant is over 26 years of age, married or has children

• Oregon W2 forms (if applicable)

• Identification
