KAPP-tv reports that Zillah High School students cheer on for their biggest star and the talk of the school for weeks, science teacher Jeff Charbonneau, who is up for National Teacher of the Year and flying to Washington D.C along with only three other semifinalists from the fifty individual state winners to see who will be the next Teacher of the Year.

Yakima Valley Community College, in collaboration with the Yakima Area Arboretum, presents Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest, an illustrated lecture by Mark Turner. Admission is free and open to the community.
