We want to pass along an invite press release from the Yakima County Republicans welcoming you to hear from Republican candidates for state and federal office.  They’re calling it a Grand Old Picnic scheduled for Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Spring Creek Homestead, 3213 South Tacoma Street, Union Gap.

Just a portion of the candidates who will attend include:  Congressman Dan Newhouse, running for re-election in the 4th Congressional District; Michael Waite, candidate for Treasurer; Phillip Yin, candidates for Lieutenant Governor; Steve McLaughlin, candidate for Commissioner of Public Lands; David DeWolf, candidate for State Supreme Court.

The candidates will be available for a meet-and-greet opportunity.  You will be able to learn more about their campaigns and ask questions.  Each candidate will also speak at various times throughout the evening.

Admission is FREE and this event is open to the general public!  Food and beverages will be available for purchase with no outside food or drinks are allowed.  This is a family-friendly event – so come when you want and leave when you must.
