Yakima Police Make More Arrests In Prostitution Sting

Yakima Police are preparing to release another list of names and pictures of people arrested for soliciting prostitution. Capt. Rod Light says six men were recently arrested for soliciting an undercover officer on North First Street. Light says the department is working with city attorneys before the new information is released. “We want to make sure we are following all the laws and rules before we release any information to local media” Earlier this month Yakima Police announced the new policy of releasing names and pictures of people arrested on a prostitution charges hoping local media will publish the information as a way to try and put an end to the prostitution problem in Yakima. The first list of names and pictures was released earlier this month.
