Yakima Paramedic Wants To Be Next County Coroner

A paramedic from Yakima wants to be the next Yakima County Coroner.
50-year-old Jim Curtice has announced his candidacy for the office after spending the last 11 years as a paramedic supervisor at American Medical Response. Curtice, who has lived in the valley for 32 years says he believes his experience in high charged events has prepared him for the job of Yakima County Coroner.
His son currently serves as a Yakima Police officer.
He says if he's elected he wants to build a stronger relationship between law enforcement and the medical community.
