Y-P-D Has An APP To Make It E-Z For You

The Yakima Police Department (“YPD”) is announcing its full service app has been modified and updated and is available on i-Phone and Android phones.

The YPD app allows users to report issues or concerns from their mobile device and a whole lot more -- there are links to report a crime, a calendar, community services, safety tips, schools, messages, feedback, wanted criminals, contact information, jail and animal control.

In addition, users can find out how to become a police officer, how to volunteer for the community academy, search for unsolved homicides, provide an anonymous tip, explore the Yakima Police Department social media platforms, read news release feeds and get answers to questions.

The KIT App puts our radio station in your pocket, now you can have the cop shop there as well.
