What It Takes To Put On a State Basketball Tournament on the Mike Bastinelli Show [AUDIO]

The Yakima Valley Sundome will play host to the Washington State class 1-A and 2-A boys and girls high school basketball championships this week. I takes a lot more than letting the school buses roll up, turning on the gym lights, and blowing a whistle to put on these tournaments.
Bob Romero, executive director of the Yakima Y.W.C.A., and Rich Austin of the Yakima Valley Sports Commission were guests on Monday’s Mike Bastinelli show. They talked about dealing with the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association, the local volunteers involved, and the economic impact these tournaments have on our community.
