Do you daydream? Is it a little or a lot? What do you daydream about? No matter what the answers, most experts agree that it's good for you.

Experts will tell you that daydreams will let us escape from the task at hand. It kind of gives us a mental vacation while the body takes over.

I have to admit that I daydream a lot at times, but usually only when undertaking certain activities. I daydream in the shower, on the treadmill, and when mowing the lawn.

What do I daydream about? Most of the time it's two things.

Ever since I was a child, I've daydreamed about meeting famous people or having famous people come to my house for dinner. When I was in the first grade, I would fantasize about President Kennedy's motorcade breaking down on Fort Road on the way to White Swan right by our house, and the First Lady asking to use our phone. As an adult, I've shifted that away from presidents and onto movie stars. Sandra Bullock comes to mind.

My other daydream is fronting a rock band. Not a big name headliner, but a cover band that can play anything. I think this comes from listening to classic rock on my mp3 player while on  For some reason, I envision myself playing wedding receptions for my nieces and nephews.

So much for my daydreams. What about yours? If you are a daydreamer, what do you daydream about? Be sure and leave us a comment.

Just to get you in the mood, here's a classic song about what else? Daydreams!
