Wednesday National Day Of Mourning To Honor President Bush

Wednesday is a National Day of Mourning to honor former President George H.W. Bush. All federal offices are closed. The financial markets are closed as well.

The Yakima VFW Post 379 is honoring Bush at the post on South 5th Avenue. They'll be watching the State Funeral beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The post commander says "as Veterans we recognize and honor all “Commanders in Chief” past and present."
The post is open to veterans and families Wednesday.
