For those people who don’t go to the gym because they can’t afford a membership, consider this: Routine workouts have been linked with significantly lower health care costs for patients with heart disease.  The money you save could cover your membership and more!

A new study in the Journal of the American Heart Association found that patients with heart disease who did moderate-to-vigorous physical activity for 30 minutes at least five times a week, on average saved more than $2,500 in annual healthcare costs.

NBC News says the study also found that "gym rats without heart disease" also save on their healthcare costs. Look better, feel better, be better and save money too –see you at the gym!
