Two people were injured and one was killed when they were ejected from their car Monday in Sunnyside.

The vehicle was passing a semi on Van Bell Road when they lost control and left the road, according to WSP. Troopers said the vehicle rolled several times and all three passengers were ejected.

32-year-old Alfredo Rivero died at the scene, police said. Two others were taken to the hospital.

19-year-old Veronica Lopez had minor injuries and was transported to Sunnyside Hospital.

The other passenger, 35-year-old Rigoberto Rivera, suffered severe injuries and was transported to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle. His condition is unknown.

Police said they don't know if drugs or alcohol were involved. They are still investigating.
