If you find yourself eating thermostabilized cherry-blueberry cobbler for your Thanksgiving dessert, chances are you are not of this world -- or at least you aren't ON this world! The six astronauts on board the International Space Station will be having their own Thanksgiving dinner, according to the Tech Times, but it won't be anywhere near as good as yours.

The crew members will be eating freeze-dried turkey with yams, green beans, mushrooms and dressing, also freeze-dried. Yum?

One of my favorites of the traditional turkey meal is the fresh home-made dinner rolls. No such luck for the orbiting eaters, Bread products aren't allowed because bread crumbs in space is not a good idea.

As Thanksgiving closes in, we want to say thanks to those who go out--out in the vast reaches of space for science, adventure and a better future for us all. Happy Thanksgiving!
