Officials at the Yakima Health District say the test results from the Washington State Department of Health are negative meaning there are no cases of COVID-19 or coronavirus in Yakima County.
Along with the survey the Yakima, Sunnyside, and Toppenish survey sites will also host Project Homeless Connect to provide a one-stop shop of health and human services for homeless. Services include medical, mental health, substance abuse, housing, dental, benefits, legal, free eyeglasses, ID, food, clothing, and more.
The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office K-9 program currently consists of three teams, Deputy Panattoni and K-9 Simcoe; Deputy Ward and K-9 Zuza; and Deputy Paganelli and K-9 Remington.
The election will be certified on Nov. 26. Auditor Charles Ross says if any race is tied or within the recount margin they will conduct hand recounts of those races. If any race is tied after the recount the winner is determined by a coin toss.
