The Westboro Baptist Church became a nationally despised organization when it began picketing the funerals of fallen American soldiers. Since then, the group has expanded its extreme anti-homosexual protest circuit to include events which garner even more media attention.

As union supporters geared up for their for sixth day of protests at the Wisconsin Capitol, Gov. Scott Walker reiterated Sunday that he wouldn't compromise on the issue that had mobilized them, a bill that would eliminate most of public employees' collective bargaining rights.

A local government official says President Hosni Mubarak is in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, 250 miles from the capital Cairo, where protesters are deluging squares and marching on presidential palaces and the State TV building.

Another protest is planned today in front of the Federal Courthouse in Yakima. Some 50 people protested at the courthouse on tuesday voicing disgust at recent immigration raids in Ellensburg.
