The City of Yakima has been planning on North 1st Street Revitalization project for years and now, at last, it looks like the project gets underway later this week.
The total number of permits issued in 2018 was 1,224 with combined valuation of $112,279,486. Both figures are well above overall 2017 numbers of 1,127 permits valued at $81,457,182.
The impacted stops are behind Chase Bank at 6550 W. Nob Hill Boulevard, in front of Walmart at 6600 W. Nob Hill Boulevard, as well as eastbound and westbound stops at 70th Avenue and Nob Hill Boulevard.
