If you ride a bike or walk it's likely you've been counted this week. A survey of bicycle riders and pedestrians is happening this week in Yakima and 34 other cities around the state. The information gathered will help the state transportation department to design projects and improve safety

Your Canyon for a Day Bike Tour is a fundraiser for the Yakima County Crime Stoppers that closes State Route 821 to traffic. The event will be held on May 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can register for the event at the Roza Recreation site
