The Washington State Legislature could not finish all of its business during the regular 2013 session, so Governor Jay Inslee  will call a special 30-day legislative session that will begin on May 13.

Democrats and Republicans are at odds over the budget with House Democrats proposing about $1.5 billion in tax increases.

But Republicans aren't budging and say they won't allow the tax increases.

15th District Representative Bruce Chandler, a Granger republican, was a guest on Tuesday's mike Bstinelli show. He talked about the recently completed regular session, and what could happen during the upcoming special session.
