Sochi Olympics are Underway

Even before tomorrow's opening ceremonies, competition is under way at the Winter Olympics in Russia. And snowboarders were out today for qualifying runs on a course that had been criticized as dangerous. American star Shaun White, not wanting to risk his safety on the course, had dropped out, saying he'd focus instead on next week's halfpipe event. Today's top qualifier was Max Parrot -- one of two Canadians who had engaged in some trash talk on Twitter targeting White after he withdrew.
