The Legion of Boom is going to see off season surgery, and Richard Sherman's new son did manage to wait a few days after the Super Bowl to come into the world.

Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, and Kam Chancellor will all undergo off-season surgery at an undetermined times to repair injuries suffered during and at practice after the NFC championship game.

Thomas endured a dislocated shoulder and Sherman tore ligaments in his right elbow during the Seahawks' NFC championship game win over Green Bay. Both played the entire game against the Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX.

Chancellor suffered a deep bone bruise and what's now disclosed as a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee during practice on the Friday before the Super Bowl, but wore a brace and played every defensive snap in the game.

Sherman welcomed his first child into the world on Thursday morning when his girlfriend Ashley Moss gave birth to their son, Rayden.

The baby comes on Feb. 5, or 2/5, or better yet, Sherman's jersey number - No. 25.
