Retail Pot Store Near Gleed Agrees To Close

A retail marijuana store near Gleed has agreed to close as the Yakima County Commissioners continue to enforce a ban on pot stores in the unincorporated areas of the county.
The commissioners Tuesday approved a settlement with the Old Pot Shop on Maple Road.
Yakima County officials say the store will close on May 31.
26 marijuana businesses still exist in the unincorporated parts of the county and county officials say they'll continue to enforce the law and push for the closure of the businesses through legal action unless the businesses decide the close.
