Police Searching for Suspect in Drive-By-Shooting

Carmen Sanchez was simply sleeping in her mobile home in Granger last Thursday when she was shot in the head by a drive-by shooter.
An autopsy on the 67-year-old woman's body on Friday found she died of a gunshot wound to the head. So far no arrests have been made and police haven't figured out a motive as to why Sanchez was targeted.
The shooting was reported at about 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning at the Granger Mobile Villa RV Park. No suspects have been identified. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergio Reyna at 509-574-2567 or Yakima County Crime Stoppers at 800-248-9980.
