Children are happiest when their mothers are happy, but their dad's happiness has little affect on them. Nearly three-quarters of children whose mothers are content with their relationship report feeling happy at home. But when their mothers are unhappy, only 55 percent of kids are 'completely satisfied' with family life. In contrast, the research found that a father's happiness makes no difference to his offspring. The study also found that those kids living with two parents -- either biological or step -- were most content. (Daily Mail)
