Mas Corona! Could The Popular Brew Run Out — Dave’s Diary

Father's day is this weekend.  What do you have planned for Dad?  Hot days, cold beer, it’s the code of the west but it’s been hot a lot and now sales of Corona beer have been surging, to the point where its brewer, Constellation Brands, is worried they might run out of supply.

Consumption of Corona has gone up 10 percent in the past five years, and it's now the fifth best-selling beer in the U.S. and the number one import, selling twice as much as second place Heineken.

Constellation plans on expanding their brewing facilities and opening a second California brewing location to meet the demand.
