Lights, Camera, Commercial For The State Fair — And You Could Be In It!

Your 15 minutes of fame begins in 3…2…1!  How would you like to appear as an extra in a television commercial and earn a free admission into this year’s Central Washington State Fair?  You could and Lee Strasberg acting methods not required!

On Wednesday afternoon, August 10, producers of this year’s Fair TV commercials will be shooting footage of people entering the gates and walking around the grounds.  You can handle that and be type cast as, well, yourself!

Fair marketers say they’re looking for about a hundred people of all ages and everyone who participates will receive a voucher for a free admission into this year’s Fair.

If you want to be in the commercials you should be at the Fair administration office, 1301 S. Fair Avenue in Yakima at 12:30 p.m. and plan on being on the grounds for about three hours.  The commercials will be produced and shown around the region in September to promote the ten-day Fair.
