Homeowners Walk Into House Being Burglarized

Homeowners on the 400 block of 56th Avenue came home to find two men burglarizing their home at 12:30 p.m. on June 5. The men ran off but were caught by Yakima police officers four blocks away. Both the 18-year-old and 20-year-old suspect were arrested for residential burglary and booked into the Yakima County Jail.

Police say the home was ransacked and belongings had already been taken, but the items were recovered in the arrest. According to police, it's rare that they find and arrest burglary suspects.
