Zillah Man Is Shot as He Walks in on Home Burglary

A 35-year-old man walked into a burglary inside of his home along the 1000 block of Roza Drive Thursday morning. He confronted the two men and was shot in the stomach. The victim remains in stable condition today at a Yakima hospital

Homeowners Walk Into House Being Burglarized

Homeowners on the 400 block of 56th Avenue came home to find two men burglarizing their home at 12:30 p.m. on June 5. The men ran off but were caught by Yakima police officers four blocks away. Both the 18-year-old and 20-year-old suspect were arrested for residential burglary and booked into the Yakima County Jail
