Health Fair In Toppenish Saturday

The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is holding a health fair this weekend. The organization is teaming up with Toppenish Community Hospital at Pioneer Park in Toppenish  August 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A YVFW press release says more than 40 informational booths will be on hand at the event, along with child immunizations, dental screenings, blood pressure and glucose checks. For immunizations, children must have their immunization cards and a parent or guardian with them. Area children can also get sports physicals just in time for the school sports season for $10. There will be food, physical activities and prizes for all ages at this free health fair event.

Pioneer Park in Toppenish is located on Elm Street and Second Avenue behind the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, Toppenish Medical Dental Clinic.
