As far as the draft itself goes, the Seahawks have more picks than anybody -- with 11 which is the most selections the team has had in the Pete Carroll era.

This will be the third straight year the team doesn’t have a first round pick as the Hawk’s number No. 31 overall choice was traded to the New Orleans Saints as part of the deal to acquire tight end Jimmy Graham .  In fact, 62 football hopefuls will all be picked before the Hawks get to choose which –barring a trade up- puts the Seahawks second round pick likely into the second day.

If anything, the Hawks could trade down for more picks which is a strategy that's served the Seahawks well in past drafts:

The fourth round has secured cornerback Walter Thurmond (2010), linebacker K.J. Wright (2011), and running back Robert Turbin (2012).

The fifth-round has netted a pair of All-Pros in strong safety Kam Chancellor (2010) and cornerback Richard Sherman (2011), as well as productive-at-an-early-age tight end Luke Willson (2013).

The sixth-round has seen Seattle select cornerbacks Byron Maxwell (2011) and Jeremy Lane (2012),

The seventh-round has provided Super Bowl XLVIII MVP linebacker Malcolm Smith (2011) and starting ri

Pigskin pundits predict the hawks could take a center, wide receiver, guard and defensive tackle with the team’s first four picks.
