Diabetes runs in my family.  My mom lost a sister and a brother due to complications from diabetes and I’ve been on the “watch list” for a while.  It seems to be a problem on the rise so Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital will be offering a no charge diabetes screening on Saturday, Nov. 8.
