The police bicycle that Seattle Seahawks player Michael Bennett rode to celebrate the team's NFC Championship has been auctioned off for charity.

KOMO-TV reports that the Seattle Police Department bicycle fetched $10,000 during a benefit for the Seattle Police Foundation on Saturday.

The defensive lineman jumped on the borrowed bike and took a victory lap around CenturyLink Field following the Seahawks' win over the Green Bay Packers on Jan. 18.

Proceeds from the bike's sale will benefit Bennett's work to fight childhood obesity and the Seattle Police Foundation's efforts to fight domestic violence and child exploitation.

Seattle Police Sgt. Tony Baily who let Bennett borrow the bike says it was amazing moment. He recalled telling Bennett that he needed the bike back once the player was done with it.
