This year's Moxee Hop Festival has so much going on that organizers had no choice: They added an extra day.
So if you love parades, live music, Sea Gals, great food and bucket-loads of family fun, mark your calendars for Aug. 3, 4 and 5.

But first, let's remember what this whole shindig is about: hops. Which means, well, beer.
That brings us to that extra day.
The festival opens Thursday (Aug. 3), rather than the traditional Friday start, with a salute to hops. From 4-10 p.m., local craft producers, including Bale Breaker Brewing and Yakima Craft Brewing, are offering up once-in-a-lifetime specialty brews as "the hop capital of the world's" tribute to the town's favorite crop.
That's just the (early) beginning, though.
Friday and Saturday will be packed with the usual nonstop mix of entertainment, plus several acres of vendors and activities -- including the interactive Teen Cave, which features CJ Martinez from DJ Dream Productions spinning hot hits to keep the dance music thumping all night long.
Oh, and make sure you come by for autographs and pictures with Sea Gals Ashley and Kelsey, who'll be at the Townsquare Media booth from 2-4 p.m. Saturday (thanks to Stan Fortier Insurance Services).
