Music and dancing, a chili cookoff, an art show and auction, chain saw art, kids' activities -- Zillah's More-Than-A-Farmers-Market really lives up to its name!

And Saturday (Sept. 9), it's staging its 17th annual event at Stewart Park, 107 First Ave.

The 9 a.m.-9 p.m. event has grown from a farmers market to Not Just a Farmers Market to this year's new name, More-Than-A-Farmers-Market. With tons of vendors and all these activities, you can see why organizers thought it had outgrown its old name.

In addition to the givens -- truckloads of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables -- enjoy an on-site beer garden and wine tasting. Or stretch out with some yoga while the kids get their faces painted.

Hey, you can even meet Pete, and sample some "paw painting" with the cat cafe ambassador!
