The Party Starts in Yakima June 15 With Downtown Summer Nights
Are you ready to get back to summer fun? Plan your Thursday nights to meet in Downtown Yakima this summer.
MEET YOUR FRIENDS DOWNTOWN STARTING JUNE 15
Downtown Summer Nights returns Thursday, June 15 to August 17. You and your family and friends can plan fun every Thursday night on North Front Street between Yakima Avenue and Pendleton Way (just outside of North Town Coffee House), from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
TWO DIFFERENT BANDS EVERY THURSDAY STARTING AT 6:00 PM
The summer downtown meet and greet concerts feature live music from 2 different bands every Thursday through the summer months. Along with great music you can also find lots of choices for food and drink plus lots of vendors selling a variety of merchandise.
Bands start at 6:00 pm and play until 9:00 pm. If you get there around 5:00 pm you'll have time to grab dinner.
LOTS OF WAYS TO HAVE FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
The weekly beer garden is also a popular place for those who love music in downtown Yakima serving not only local beer but also pouring wine and cider from the Yakima Valley.
It's a family friendly event with a kids activity area including arts and crafts and other fun things for the entire family.
DON'T FORGET YOUR LAWN CHAIRS AND YOUR SUNSCREEN
Don’t forget your concert chairs if you’d like to relax in front of the main stage to enjoy the tunes. A press release says "pack your dancing shoes and grab a partner to dance the evening away under the setting sun or snap a few photos in the sidewalk photo booth.
Local Vendors. Enjoy shopping a variety of local food, merchandise and informational vendors which line the street every week.
For Your Convenience an ATM will be available for spending at any “cash only” vendor. And for the especially hot nights take a moment to cool off in the misting tents."
