Yakima Woman Cited For Making U Turn On Freeway

a Yakima woman driving on Highway 12 on the other side of White Pass escaped injury after a two-vehicle crash. The Washington State Patrol says 45-year-old Susan Shane had stopped along the shoulder in Glenoma. Her Subaru Outback was then struck by a second car after police say she pulled into traffic while trying to make a u-turn. Shane wasn’t hurt, but the 66-year-old woman in the second vehicle had to be taken to the hospital to be checked out. The Yakima woman was cited for failure to yield.
