Yakima Donates Winter Clothing For Vets

When the Yakima County Veterans Program asked KIT to help with a winter clothing and food drive for local veterans we knew KIT listeners would respond with a lot of donations. Many of the donations on this Wednesday, the first day of the drive have already arrived. Blankets and coats, hats and socks and lots of snacks.
The winter clothing drive isn't usually needed at this time of year but because the demand is greater with the cold weather the program decided to reach out to the community for help.
You can donate any cold weather clothing and snacks. Bring your donations to KIT studio at 4010 Summitview in Yakima.
