STILL INVESTIGATING TO SEE IF IT WAS GANG RELATED

Authorities have not yet determined if this incident is connected to local gangs, although many drive-by shootings in the Yakima Valley have had gang ties.
The FBI and Yakama Nation Tribal Police are currently investigating the case and are searching for a suspect vehicle.

WE'VE SEEN A LOT OF GANG VIOLENCE IN THE VALLEY

The Yakima Valley has witnessed a surge in gang-related violence over the past year. One of the most notable unsolved cases involves the murders of two young brothers in Sunnyside on February 16. Thirteen-year-old Isaac Hernandez and seventeen-year-old Maurice Hernandez were found shot dead in a vehicle after a report of gunfire.
